What are Dedicated Design Days?
With Dedicated Design Days, you get my complete, dedicated attention on your project over the course of one or more full days.
Instead of spreading your project over the course of several weeks with back & forth revisions and finding availability for meetings, we’ll knock it out together during your reserved day(s).
Dedicated Design Days are a good fit for projects such as:
Annual reports
Event collateral
Marketing campaign materials
Sales materials like pitch decks and one sheets
Brand asset creation, such as brand icon sets, patterns, or illustrations
Social media template kits, created in your Canva account
A big checklist of design tasks
Landing pages or significant website additions or changes (for past web design clients only)
Packaging or label refreshes or new designs (for past packaging design clients only)
Some projects can be completed in a single day, while larger projects (like annual reports or extensive event collateral) may require multiple days.
We’ll discuss your project and determine how many days are needed so we can complete your design work both efficiently and without rushing.

How do Dedicated Design Days work?
When you book your Dedicated Design Days, they’re reserved for exclusive focus on your project only, with no distractions.
1 – Project chat
We’ll talk through the details and determine a) if Dedicated Design Days are the right solution, and if so, b) how many days your project will require.
2 – Reserve your days
We’ll get your project on the calendar with 1 or more days, which may be booked consecutively or within a day or so of each other. The latter is a great solution if you’d like time to discuss and approve our progress with team members between days.
Because these days are reserved exclusively for your project only, your full payment will be due to secure your dates in the calendar.
3 – Project preparation
We’ll make sure we have everything we need to make the most of our time together on your reserved day(s). You’ll provide all finalized copy, photos, logos, brand guidelines, project specs, and any other required information at least 2 days before your Dedicated Design Day.
Leading up to your day(s), I’ll also be available via email to provide guidance and answer any questions as needed.
4 – Your Dedicated Design Day(s)
If needed, we’ll start the day with a brief Zoom meeting to confirm details and priorities. Then, I’ll focus entirely on your project from 9:30-5:00 EST (with a break for lunch) on your reserved day(s). (Alternate hours may be arranged for west coast clients.)
I ask that you are available via email during this time, as well, to review and approve proofs.
5 – Delivery
That’s a wrap! Upon your final approval, I’ll send over all final deliverables and you’ll be equipped to roll your project out right away. For projects that are approved very close to 5:00pm, you’ll receive your final deliverables in the morning on the following business day.
6 – Support
If you need to request approval from another member in your organization, I include 2 additional hours of design time after your Dedicated Design Day(s). This means that we can get your project as close to completion as possible, with room to tweak if needed after reviewing with your team. These hours can be used any time in the 2 weeks following your day(s).

Dedicated Design Days are a great fit for:

What these days are not for:
Kindly note that Design Days are not offered for new brand identity designs or mini brands, new website designs or redesigns, or edits to existing logos or websites that were not designed by Amp’d Designs.

One Dedicated Design Day is $2,000.00. Your full payment is due to book your day(s).

During our initial conversation, I’ll determine how many days we’ll need to complete your project. With 8+ years of running my independent design business and tracking my time on all projects, I’m very good at estimating how long things will take!
Following your day(s), you’ll also receive 2 hours of additional design support, which can be used any time during the following 2 weeks in case additional edits are needed.
In cases where we have much more work to do, or changes or additions to our initial scope, we can either continue at my hourly rate over the following weeks, or you may book an additional Dedicated Design Day.

Rest assured that I am not in the business of nickel-and-diming anyone, so if your project can fit into one day, one day is what we will book.
That said, you will get the best results and highest quality when I am not rushing, skipping lunch, or asking you to turn around unreasonably fast approvals on your end. Larger projects (like annual reports, multi-page documents, and comprehensive event collateral) will most likely require more than one day.

It’s best to book your Dedicated Design Day(s) 1-3 months in advance of when you need your project completed. While these days make extremely efficient use of our time together, they are generally not available immediately, as my calendar tends to book up weeks advance.

Yes! Sometimes it’s easier to hop on a call and talk through feedback, and we can coordinate calls throughout the day as needed.
Kindly note that while Zoom may be used for discussing feedback, I’m not able to work on designs live while you watch or instruct. My process works best when I can take time to review notes, explore design directions, and make intentional decisions, then present finished designs to you once they’re ready.

Yes, I can! I do commonly work on comprehensive projects like these at flat fees, which are quoted ahead of time. This can also be a great option, it just depends on your goals.
With a flat fee quote, you receive:
A price for a specific scope of work, including exact deliverables and project specs
A specific number of revision rounds
An estimated timeline, typically spanning several weeks
More time for back and forth with your team, and between us
Changes to the quoted scope of work may incur additional fees, and additional rounds of revisions may be made at my hourly rate
With Dedicated Design Days, you receive:
A wider scope of work, within reason; if specifics change, as long as we can still get everything done within your reserved day(s), there is no extra cost
No revision limit; we can make as many rounds of revisions as needed during your day(s)
Quicker turnaround; instead of stretching your project across several weeks, we’re completing everything during your reserved day(s)
