Through various sources, I often discover incredibly talented local and underground musical artists that deserve much greater recognition. The reality is that millions of acts exist and the possibility of one receiving national attention is slim to none. Since it is incredibly unfortunate for so much talent to go unheard, I created a music festival that allows many the ability to extend their audiences.
Crescendo is a nationwide battle of the bands competition dedicated to artist growth and music discovery. It aims to bring undiscovered musicians into the spotlight through an online platform, as well as live festivals.
Bands from across the country register online, and fans sign up to vote for their favorites.
Judges sift through the top votes and select the best to compete in one of four regional festivals, San Francisco, Omaha, Memphis, or New York.
Each festival hosts four bands per genre on different stages.
Wayfinding symbols help festival goers navigate the grounds and locate stages, services, and entertainment.
The map and performance schedule for each stage, as well as schedules for activities, are included in hand-out pamphlets.
VIP packages include detailed band lineup lists and tear-out vouchers for food and discounts at the festivals.
